The 7th graders dissected frogs in November.  The main objectives of this lesson were to; study the internal organs of a frog, develop dissection techniques appropriate for high school, and to observe the organ system of a representative vertebrate.

Students were able to see what the lining of the frog stomach looked like as well as see a lung inflating and deflating.  Two students, Jake Hopkins and Kolton Fuson, mananged to extract a frog brain which is a very difficult and tedious dissection.

Maybe there are some future surgeons here.  The whole class did a great job!
