Mr. J.L. Hallford served as the Principal of Zion School from 1949-1957. He was presented with a commemorative plate for his 37 years of dedicated service to Zion School and the field of education. Mr. Hallford wrote this poem about Zion School, his school, for a Zion reunion held on August 28,1993. This is such a great memory and this poem holds special meaning to many!!
