Hi, I am Natalie Yeager. The After School Program Director and Family Engagement Specialist. Zion’s 21st Century Grant provides a lot of after school activities for our students from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m daily. I’d like to invite you personally to our first Family Engagement Event for 2023.The event is January 31st. Attached is a flier/ registration form. We send out a registration form for each event to prepare for our activities. We take each name and enter into our drawings for “Make & Take” kits, so you can experience these fun activities at home together.
You may be wondering what a Family Engagement Event is? It’s an event that provides activities for the whole family. It builds the bridges for students, parents and community to our school. These events will be hosted once a month from 5:30 p.m-6:30 p.m with different activities through our partnerships.
Our grant is designed to offer opportunities for our students, parents and community to bring enrichment in these categories.
Academic Enrichment in literacy and math such as tutoring services and power hour.
Well rounded activities enriching literacy and math
Financial Literacy $
Programs that support health and wellness
Services for individuals with disabilities
Cultural Programs
ELL students building language skills
Telecommunication and technology education programs
