The Cherokee Nation Dental Prevention Unit will be at the Pre-School, Monday, September 18, 2023 at 8:30 AM to complete fluoride varnish treatments for students in KG-8th grades that have turned in a signed permission form. Permission forms will be sent home with students tomorrow, September 8th, and need to be returned to Nurse Leach, as soon as possible. Students participating will receive a goody bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste, sand timer, pencil and floss. Participating students will also have their names placed in a drawing for power toothbrushes.
*Please note, your child does not have to have Medical or Dental Insurance to receive the fluoride varnish treatments.*
The Cherokee Nation Dental Staff follows the CDC Guidelines to use the proper personal protective equipment to keep your child safe. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Nurse Leach at (918) 696-7866, ext. 1044.
