Parents: The Wilma P. Mankiller Health Center no longer provides health physicals for 3 & 4 yr. olds on school sites due to HIPPA rules. Head Start requires every student to have an updated physical and dental exam each year to be enrolled. Please click the link below to find the forms or stop by the school to get copies. You should contact Wilma P. Mankiller Center or Hastings Hospital at your earliest convenience to schedule these screenings and return the completed forms to our office ASAP. Thank you for your attention to this matter. https://www.zionjets.com/o/zion-public-school/browse/66817

2020
Zion School was recently blessed to receive a grant from the Tom J. and Edna M. Carson Foundation for the purchase of new Apple Macbooks and iPads. Our students and teachers will benefit tremendously from this generous grant, says Superintendent Corey Bunch. With this grant and funds received from Cherokee Nation’s Car Tag revenue we will be able to place a device into the hands of every student at Zion School from Pre-K through 8th grade. Having access to technology and learning how to use it properly is essential in today’s world. It is always our goal to prepare our students for their current and future academic needs and these devices are a major step forward for us. Bunch also says it couldn’t have came at a better time. With the challenges of school closures as a result of pandemic, we will be fully prepared moving forward if we need to conduct more distance learning in the fall. Thank you again to the Tom J. and Edna M. Carson Foundation, you are truly helping kids succeed!
