📣 Head Start Families—Don’t Forget!
It’s time to schedule your child’s Head Start check-up! Be sure to review the flyer for important dates, times, and location details.
These check-ups include everything your child needs for enrollment, like immunizations, physicals, dental, and vision exams—all in one place!

Wow—what an incredible effort! 🎉 Our school collected a total of 67.5 pounds of pop tabs during our contest!
🥇 1st Place: Mrs. Kimble’s 4-year-old class with 13 pounds—enjoy your well-earned pizza party! 🍕
🥈 2nd Place (tie): Mrs. Carte’s class and Mrs. Stratton’s class with 9 pounds each—great job!
All of these tabs will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House to help support families with loved ones in the hospital. ❤️

We appreciate our incredible bus drivers more than words can say! 🚌 From driving daily routes to getting our students safely to field trips and ball games, they play such an important role in each school day. Thank you for your dedication, your patience, and for always putting the safety of our kids first—we are so grateful for all that you do! 💚

We will begin Field Day at 9:00 AM to try and stay ahead of the weather moving in. At this time, we plan to move forward as scheduled and will only cancel if the weather actually moves in on us. Please note that there is no plan to reschedule if we have to cancel tomorrow.

RE: Free Athletic Physicals for Zion Students in grades 5th-8th on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 from 3PM – 5PM at the New Gym
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Yesterday, April 21st, parent consent, physical history, & physical exam forms were handed out to incoming 5th-8th grade students that plan on participating in athletics (softball, baseball football, soccer, track, cross-county) or cheerleading for the 2026-27 school year. Please complete the paperwork and return it to school with your child ASAP. Parents do not have to be present in order for their child to receive a physical, as long as the consent and physical forms have been completed & signed. If your child normally goes to Boys & Girls Club after school, I can send them over after they’ve completed their physical.
